Virgin America Cuts Ties With Teasing Toronto

It's a good thing the Giants' World Series tropy doesn't need to go to Toronto.

If it did, the shiny Tiffany's prize would need to find a new airline to fly. The Burlingame-based airline is scheduled to stop flying to Toronto in April. Virgin America only began flying to Toronto last June.

This is the second time Virgin has cut a route in the last year because it wasn't making enough money, according to the Biz Times.

The move will open up Virgin to try new routes from the West Coast. The airline also recently announced it inked a deal with Emirates that will allow travels to start a trip with the Dubai-based airline and finish it on a Virgin America flight.
