Even if you've checked it already, look again at the numbers on your Lottery ticket, just for the heck of it.

If you see these digits: 48, 12, 24, 7, 36, and Mega Number 27, then call in sick to work and pop open a bottle of bubbly. You're a winner.

A Mega Millions ticket worth more than $103,000 expires today. The winning ticket was bought five months ago at a Los Gatos 7-Eleven.

Perhaps the person who bought the ticket wants the money to go to the state's struggling school system -- that's where it will end up if someone doesn't turn over the ticket.

The ticket matched five of six winning numbers in the May 15 drawing.

While the clock is ticking on that ticket, the time just started on another winning Mega Millions ticket sold in the Bay Area.

A Mega Millions ticket sold at a San Francisco Pak 'n Save matched all six numbers in Tuesday's draw. The winning numbers are: 37, 34, 29, 21, 8 and the Mega number is 15. That ticket is worth $38.5 million. It was part of a multi-state lottery drawing with a total jackpot of $77 million. The other winning ticket was sold in New Jersey.
