Calling all former gang members wanting to have gang tattoos removed.

San Jose is looking for people who are no longer in gangs but are branded with tattoos of the lifestyle, for their Clean Slate program, which begins Tuesday, the Mercury News reports.

The program is for San Jose residents between the ages of 14-25 who are willing to leave the gang-life in their past.

The program will remove related tattoos from exposed areas of the body, such as the neck, hands, wrists and face, in exchange the participant must attend a weekly life skills support group and complete community service hours.
