Lefty the Chihuahua is home again.

Lefty is Lilly Lange's beloved four-legged BFF who vanished over the weekend. Lange, who served as the voice stand-in for Drew Barrymore in "Beverly Hills Chihuahua," believed someone swiped the little pooch from her San Rafael back yard. A dognapping tale fit for the big screen.

On Monday, a woman returned Lefty to Lange after seeing a posting on Craigslist about the case.

The woman told Lange she took Lefty because she was afraid he would be hit by a car.

"She said that Lefty was running down the street." Lange told the Marin IJ. "She stopped her car and Lefty ran back into our yard and she followed him up." She knocked on the neighbor's door, but to no avail, she told Lange. So, she left with Lefty.

Lange has her doubts about the the woman's story but she's grateful the tale of Lefty has a Hollywood ending.
