A woman walking her dog was left stranded over the edge of a 200 foot cliff in the Richmond area, Tuesday evening.
The woman's dog took off after a sheep, when the dog and sheep went over the side of the cliff. Both animals only fell partially down the side. The woman attempted to rescue her dog by scaling down the side, but didn't make it very far, due to the brittle rock and steep angle.
Richmond Fire was called to rescue the woman, her dog and the sheep.
No injuries were reported.
