Pair Arrested, 2 Others At Large In Gang-Related Homicide

Two men accused of taking part earlier this month in a suspected gang-related murder of a 25-year-old San Jose resident have been arrested and police are looking for their two alleged accomplices, a police spokeswoman said today.

David Martinez, 20, and Richard Guerrero, 21, were booked by the San Jose Police Department’s Homicide Unit on Tuesday for their involvement in the murder of Eric Mendoza-Hurtado, San Jose's 11th homicide victim, police said.

Hurtado was found dead in his car from at least one gunshot wound in front of his home in East San Jose on April 3. He left behind his wife and a new born child.

Police are still looking for two more suspects believed to be involved in the murder, James Guerrero, 20, and Isaac Martinez, 19, who ar ealso thought to be from San Jose.
