A woman was confirmed dead after an accidental boat collision took place Saturday near Ski Beach in the San Joaquin Delta, the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office said.
Officials responded to a 911 call at around 7:15 p.m. after two boats collided. Initially, the incident was being investigated as a hit-and-run, but it Sheriff's investigators confirmed Sunday that it was an accident.
The woman has been identified as 24-year-old Kelly Blake.
