    One suspect was killed and another is at large after an officer-involved shooting in Sunnyvale on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015.

    One suspect is dead and another is at large in an officer-involved shooting in Sunnyvale, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said Saturday.

    Public safety officials first tweeted about the shooting, which reportedly occurred on the 700 block of San Aleso Avenue, at 5:55 p.m. 

    Officers are looking for a black man wearing blue jeans and red or orange shirt, according to a tweet by officials. 

    Police, who recovered a handgun near the deceased suspect, believe the outstanding suspect is "armed and dangerous," a tweet said.

    The man was last seen near the intersection of Borregas Avenue with East and West Ferndale avenues, public safety officials said.
