Two things 49ers' fans learned from the yet-to-be released Madden 2012 video game: Patrick Willis is popular but no match for Michael Vick.

The Philadelphia Eagles' franchise quarterback beat the 49ers' All Pro linebacker in a fan vote for who should be on the next cover of the popular Madden football video game.

Willis and Vick faced off in the quarterfinals of the bracket style competition. Vick easily defeated Willis by a vote of 61 percent to 39 percent.

Fans were allowed to vote multiple times and with Vick's name in national headlines, it's no surprise the Eagles' quarterback was able to win.

Vick's position may not have hurt his cause. Aaron Rodgers also made it to the quarterfinal round.

The Philly QB will next face Adrian Peterson in the quarterfinals and Rodgers will face off against Peyton Hillis.
