An 18-year-old man who was shot and killed at a San Jose elementary school campus Saturday night has been identified as Fernando Hernandez, police said.
Hernandez is the city's 12th homicide.
Police received reports of shots heard at the Lowell Elementary School campus, located at 625 S. Seventh St., at 9:25 p.m., according to reports.
When officers arrived at the school they found Hernandez suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
Police said he was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics and there are no suspects in the case.
The shooting is being investigated as a possible gang-related shooting, according to the police.
