Alleged Guy Fieri Lamborghini Thief Pleads Not Guilty

Max Wade's attorney tried to have theft charges separated from murder charges.

A lawyer for a teen accused of stealing celebrity chef Guy Fieri's Lamborghini asked that the charges be separated from attempted murder charges Wednesday.

The judge denied the demur filed by Max Wade's attorney.

The 17-year-old is facing car theft charges as well as two counts of attempted murder for an unrelated shooting on April 13, where a person on a motorcycle fired into a truck occupied by two teenagers.

Wade pleaded not guilty to all the charges Wednesday after the judge decided to keep the two cases together.

Fieri's car was found in a storage unit by police in Point Richmond while they were investigating the shooting.

The chef's yellow Lamborghini, valued at $200,000, was stolen from a dealership last year on Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.
