Sixteen people, including three people, were displaced from their homes early Monday morning after a two-alarm fire broke out in an apartment complex.
San Jose fire crews were called out about 12:20 a.m. to a fire at a multi-unit apartment complex in the 3600 block of Waterbury Court, near Williams and San Tomas Expressway, according to Capt. Rob Brown.
They had to call in backup to keep the fire from spreading.
There were no injuries reported.
