2 Arrested After Drive-By Shooting Near Vacaville

Witnesses saw the license plate Friday when two people in a white Cadillac fired rounds as they drove, the sheriff's office said.

Solano County sheriff's deputies have arrested two men wanted in connection with a drive-by shooting that took place near Vacaville Friday afternoon in unincorporated Solano County.

Deputies responded to Hay and Dally roads at about 3:30 p.m. after receiving a report of gunfire in the area.

According to the sheriff's office, deputies learned that two suspects in a white Cadillac fired rounds from inside the vehicle as they drove up and down the road.

No one was injured during the drive-by shooting.

Deputies, using license plate information provided by a witness, located the Cadillac parked in the driveway of a home in the 500 block of Isabella Drive in Vacaville at about 11:30 p.m.

According to the sheriff's office, a search of the vehicle revealed a loaded .357 Magnum revolver, ammunition for the gun as well as for other firearms, and spent shell casings.

Deputies arrested Armando Tinocoduran, 19, who allegedly told authorities he drove the vehicle and had fired rounds with his gun in the area of the reported drive-by shooting.

Tinocoduran allegedly told authorities the identity of a second suspect, Eric Alejandro Camerena, who was allegedly with him during the shooting.

Today at about 10:30 a.m., deputies located Camerena, 21, at a home in the 100 block of Goldenrod Court in Vacaville. Deputies seized a 22-caliber semi-automatic handgun from the home as well as ammunition matching the type reportedly used during the shooting.

Camerena was arrested this morning and booked into Solano County Jail on suspicion of shooting at an inhabited dwelling, carrying a concealed firearm in a vehicle and possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle.

Tinocoduran was booked into county jail on suspicion of several charges, including the same as those of which Camerena is suspected.

Each man is being held in lieu of $60,000 bail.
