2 Shot for Not Claiming a Gang

Two wounded by gunfire in Richmond.

Doesn't matter what colors you fly -- or don't fly.

A pair of people were shot and wounded Sunday morning in Richmond after telling a pair of suspects that they were not in a gang, according to Bay Area News Group.

Two Latino men in a black Saturn approached "two people" and asked them about their gang affiliation at 11:20 a.m. in the 1400 block of Costa Avenue on Sunday, according to the news agency. The victims said they claimed no gangs -- and were shot anyway, the news agency reported.

The shooters fled. The victims are in stable condition and are expected to survive, the news agency reported.

The suspects are at large.
