With approximately 2,000 jobs at stake, Livermore and Alameda County want their labor force ready, so they're offering workshops and job fairs to hone applicants' skills, according to the Mercury News.
The Paragon Outlets Livermore soon will be home to 120 premium factory outlet stores, taking up 42 acres of shopping land for the inland area.The complex opens on Nov. 8, 2012.
The job fairs are set up to help people write better resumes, strengthen interview skills and basic customer service approaches. The workshops are free. To pre-register call 925-960-4049 or email email@example.com.
The $162 million center broke ground in August 2011 and is reportedly adding $2 million to Livermore's sales tax revenues, according to earlier reports.
