A four-alarm fire that damaged seven homes in the Bird's Landing area of Solano County Friday afternoon appears to be under control, according to fire dispatchers.

The four-alarm fire was reported just before 1:30 p.m. at 1095 Collinsville Road, according to a Solano County dispatcher.

The extent of the damage to homes is unclear at this time, the dispatcher said, although, judging by images captured by NBC Bay Area's chopper, it appeared significant.

A second fire that was reported on Hay Road in Dixon Friday afternoon about 3:15 p.m. in a hay field also appears to be under control, a Dixon dispatcher said.

That fire burned 20 to 30 acres but did not damage any structures.

No injuries have been reported at this time, dispatchers said.
