Authorities say a 4-year-old girl fell out of a second-story apartment window in Concord, but was conscious and alert when firefighters arrived.
The Contra Costa Times reports Monday that the girl was transported to an Oakland hospital after the fall Sunday evening. Her name was not released. Her condition was not immediately available Monday.
Contra Costa Fire Capt. George Laing says the girl fell from an apartment window shortly before 6 p.m. She reportedly fell between 10 and 29 feet.
It was not immediately known if she was under an adult's supervision when she took the fall.
