49ers Party in San Jose After NFC Championship Win

Motif in downtown San Jose was the 49ers' Sunday night club of choice.

Guess these new-look Super Bowl-bound 49ers know where to party.

In downtown San Jose.

Fresh off their NFC Championship game win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday and freshly-arrived from the airport, quarterbacks Colin Kaepernick and Alex Smith were among the 49ers to roll into San Jose nightclub Motif Lounge on South First Street, first reported by celebrity news Web site TMZ.

Co-owner Teresa Nguyen told NBC Bay Area on Tuesday that her club is always the party place for 49er fans, and their fliers advertising the football festivities are often passed around town. The team also has been frequenting the club for the last two or three years, she said.

"We have a party almost every Sunday," Nguyen said. On Sunday, "almost the entire team came," she said. Their drink of choice? Champagne, Moet Rose, to be specific. They ordered about "five or ten bottles," Nguyen said.

Of course, the players acted respectably, Nguyen said. And, of course, business has been really great.

"We're the best venue in town," she said with a laugh. "This is really good for the city of San Jose."

Motif posted a photo of the "TMZ exclusive" on its website (pictured above), showing Kaepernick wearing a red bean and Smith dancing in a blue-checked shirt.

Kapernick, TMZ reported, became so mobbed with fans that he was whisked away to a VIP area "to get away from his zealous fans."
