500 Years For Meth-Fueled Rape of Teen

Sex offender receives 500 years for raping a teenager.

A Bay Area man was sentenced to over 500 years in prison for the methamphetamine-fueled rape of a 13-year old, according to reports.

Rickey Reed, 50, a registered sex offender, was on parole for drug charges in May 2008 when he lured a 13-year old girl into a home he was renovating for his father, according to the Contra Costa Times.

Judge Mary Ann O'Malley sentenced Reed to the maximum: 19 years and four months in prison on one charge, and a series of consecutive life sentences totalling 495 years to life, the newspaper reported.

Reed drugged the girl with methaphetamine and "sexually assaulted her for hours," according to prosecutors.

Reed had sexually assaulted a 7-year old girl in 1995, the newspaper reported.
