A man is in police custody after officials at Oakland International Airport discovered 65 pounds of marijuana in baggage he checked in onto a flight on Thursday, according to reports.
A random search of baggage unearthed the marijuana, which was in vacuum sealed bags and had value of $300,000, according to reports. The man was arrested by Alameda County Sheriff's deputies but he has not yet been identified.
He was attempting to fly to Charleston, South Carolina, according to reports.
No further information was available early Friday.
