The Warriors Celebrated Fourth of July Like Champs

While the Golden State Warriors have been celebrating non-stop after claiming their second NBA championship, the Fourth of July holiday gave players yet another reason to celebrate. Each basketball star spent the weekend differently. Activities ranged from taking lavish vacations to lounging at home with family. Take a look:

Stephen Curry

The iconic Warriors couple Stephen and Ayesha Curry took to the Turks and Caicos Islands with family for the holiday weekend. The duo’s Instagrams gave fans a peek of the famous travel spot, showing off the crystal blue waters and untouched beaches that many celebrities flock to. Of course, both Stephen and Ayesha sported some red, white and blue abroad when celebrating the Fourth.[[432770083, C]]

Javal McGee

On the other end of the spectrum, Javal McGee had a more intimate weekend at home. The Warriors player shared an image of his daughter sporting patriotic pants and headband. This was the eight month old’s first Fourth of July. McGee also posted pictures of him lounging by the pool with his baby girl over the weekend, seemingly enjoying his time off.[[432770603, C]]

Draymond Green

While many Americans on the Fourth can be found drinking beer and eating hot dogs, Draymond Green dropped into a Soul Cycle in Hollywood for a quick cardio session. Green shared pictures of himself and friends with the caption, “Good spin with my brothers today!!”[[432771323, C]]

Patrick McCaw

Basketball isn’t the only sport these NBA pros play. Warrior’s forward guard Patrick McCaw was seen on the pitching mound at Busch Stadium, home of the St. Louis Cardinals. McCaw threw out the first ball in his home town Monday. Pictures were also snapped of the NBA championship trophy under the city’s famous arch.[[432773043, C]]

Klay Thompson

Thompson decided to trade the court for a golf course over Fourth of July. While most people would envision practicing their putting in the luscious Scottish Highlands, the Warriors player actually took to the courses of China. Thompson was also able to shoot some hoops on a temporary basketball court set up on the green.[[432775043, C]]
