The alleged thief whose daylight heist of canned goods and a package left on a porch for needy people has been arrested, according to police.

Police say Danielle Shauntey Gonsalves, 32, was the person who stole a pair of work boots and some canned goods from a porch in Fremont in November. Oakland police arrested her Wednesday.

She was found in possession of stolen mail, credit cards and identification, the Oakland Tribune reported.

The video was key in her identfication and apprehension, police said.
