Alaska Airlines Plane Makes Emergency Landing at San Jose Airport

An Alaska Airlines plane had to return to San Jose International Airport shortly after takeoff Monday morning to make an emergency landing.

Flight 837 took off just after 9 a.m. from SJC headed for Honolulu, but it had to return soon after takeoff when the pilot reported circuit problems.

One-hundred-forty people were on board the Boeing 737, including the crew.

No one was hurt.
