All-Inclusive Luxury Hotel The Clement Palo Alto Debuts This Fall

Due to open this fall, a new 23-room luxury hotel called The Clement Palo Alto will offer highly personalized concierge services and a price that includes the stay and a range of opulent services.

According to a press release, The Clement will assign each visitor a personal "Guest Experience Manager." This hyper-attentive concierge will, among other duties, stock the room's pantry full of favorite food staples, plan each desired meal in one of several locations in the hotel (including private rooftop poolside bungalows), and suggest activities and amenities based on prior social media and other online research on the guest.

Hotelier Clement Chen told San Francisco Business Times that a trip to a resort in Bali gave him the idea to create an "all-inclusive" business model that includes the room, meals, alcohol, staff gratuities and other offerings so that guests could relax and not worry about using their wallets throughout their stay. He added that rates, which are not yet finalized, might start around $900 per night.
