Amazon to Hire 10,000 Seasonal Associates in California

The company plans on hiring in locations such as San Bernardino, Redlands, Moreno Valley, and Eastvale.

Amazon announced it will hire over 10,000 seasonal associates in California as it creates more than 120,000 seasonal positions across the country.

The jobs are being created in the company's fulfillment centers, sorting centers and customer service locations during the holiday season, Amazon announced Thursday morning.

In California, seasonal associates will be hired at facilities in Tracy, Patterson, San Bernardino, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Eastvale and Newark, according to a spokeswoman for the company.

Mike Roth, Amazon Vice President of Global Customer Fulfillment, said in a statement the company is excited to bring on additional employees to "support growing customer demand."

"Last year alone, more than 14,000 seasonal employees stayed on in regular, full-time positions after the holidays and we expect to increase that number this year," Roth said.

Seasonal positions are being offered in 26 other states including Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado.

Information about positions and the application process was posted on the company's website. Inland Empire residents can find more information about available positions and job fairs in that area here.
