Final “American Idol” Auditions Return to Cow Palace

Do you or your child sing like Kelly Clarkson or Carrie Underwood?

The chance to show off your talent to the nation is imminent: "American Idol" auditions return to the Cow Palace on Sept. 15.

The annual tryout has been held at the Daly City venue for more than a decade, and it's always, well, a cattle call. But, unlike previous years, overnight camping at the venue the night before registration will not be allowed inside or outside.

The program seeks prospective contestants aged 15 to 28. For those who might want to avoid the rigmarole, the program also accepts online auditions.

The 2016 season of "American Idol" will be the show's 15th and final season.
