A body was spotted in the water near the O.co Coliseum in Oakland Friday morning by an alert Amtrak train passenger, police said.
The body was seen near the 1500 block of Coliseum Way around 10:28 a.m., according to Oakland police.
Police were still at the scene as of shortly before noon, and no further information was available about the body, police said.
