Another young girl has come forward saying she was molested by an East Bay dental assistant during a procedure.

Police said the girl is the fourth victim to come forward as detectives sift through dozens of recordings and photos allegedly showing attacks on children by suspect Alejandro Saro.

"The videos are very clear about what happened," Concord Police Detective Tony Killion said. "I've had to view most of them along with the primary detective, and they are unpleasant."

Police said the case is so massive that all seven of the detectives in the special victims unit are now working full time and going through the evidence.

Killion said all four girls who have come forward in the case have been positively identified in the videos and photos seized from Saro's Antioch home.

The latest confirmed victim is an 8-year-old girl who said Saro molested her while taking X-rays at the dental office of La Clinica Monument in Concord.

Detectives said the 24-year-old Saro filmed himself touching more than 50 young patients inappropriately. Killion said some of the victims were sedated, while others were awake.

Detectives believe Saro would not have stopped the alleged abuse unless he was caught.

Authorities said their evidence shows the attacks happened over the last seven months, but believe Saro may have done it before at other dental offices in Concord and Antioch.

"I would say that I am very alarmed at the number of potential victims at his young age," Killion said. "I wonder part of the investigation is to potential other crimes that may have happened.

Concord police have set up a dedicated hotline for the public to call if they have more information on the case at 925-603-5836. Detectives said because they are receiving so much information, callers should leave the name of the child, date of birth, location child was seen, and the date and time.
