Apple Earnings: Higher Than Expected

iPhone sales top guesses

    They're still buying iPhones.

    31.2 million of them.

    Apple, reporting better than expected earning numbers, and sending investors back into "buy" mode. The early figures:

    31.2 million iPhone sales.

    14.6 million iPad sales.

    3.8 million Mac sales.

    To put this in perspective, Apple sold about 50 million computers over the last three months; less than four million of them were actual Macs.

    Yes, Mobile is king, and investors like it, bidding Apple (AAPL) shares higher in after hours trading.
