Apple Watch Starts at $349. Available early next year. It needs an iPhone to work. Works with iPhone 5 & 6. pic.twitter.com/FGzhHgLAxY β scott budman (@scottbudman) September 9, 2014
11:38 a.m. β Fitness, as rumored, is big with the watch.
Add Jawbone and Fit Bit to the companies (Pebble, Samsung) looking at this watch demo with interest, and maybe a little nervousness.
The #AppleWatch will also track your health & fitness data, a la Fitbit or Jawbone. pic.twitter.com/ToYPOJV6Fx β scott budman (@scottbudman) September 9, 2014

11:26 a.m. β Photos and movie times on the watch.
Everything seems kind of small.
Will we turn into a nation that stares at our wrists? Is t that progress?
11:18 a.m. β Now demoing the new Apple watch. Lots of choices...works with your iPhone.
How much? Is the rumble through the crowd.

10:31 a.m. β New camera for the new iPhone 6.
8 Megapixels.
More ways to do things (check stocks, etc) sideways, which gets a pretty big cheer.
Still waiting for pricing and availability.
10:22 a.m. β Getting a gaming demo from a company called "Super Evil Megacorp."
Yep .. good times in the tech industryβ¦
10:19 a.m. β Apple now talking about how the iPhone 6 is not just bigger, but faster.
They're ripping through the features much faster than usual . I get the feeling theres a lot more to come.
That said, Apple's profits have long been tied to the iPhone, so an update is important for them.
10:13 a.m. β the 6 is 4.7 inches for screen
the 6 plus is 5.5 inches for screen
10:10 a.m. β Jumping right in .. Apple announces iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus (it's the biggest iPhone yetβ¦)
10:08 a.m. β Tim Cook onstage .. quick nod to Steve Jobs and the original iMac. Then says he'll dismiss the usual updates, other than "things are great."

9:57 a.m. β Lots of analyst talk about wearables.
Combine that with sightings of Dr. Oz, and I think you have Apple aiming at the growing wearable health market.
9:45 a.m. β Just got let into the theatre .. as usual for an Apple event, this thing is packed. I don't know what people are guessing about more .. the actual gadgets, or what's inside the white structure...
Lots of celebs showing up, including the original #Apple evangelist @GuyKawasaki $AAPL pic.twitter.com/u8ufPBLWvB β scott budman (@scottbudman) September 9, 2014
