Arson Suspected in 3 Car Fires in San Francisco's Noe Valley

Arson investigators are trying to figure out who set to vehicles on fire in San Francisco's Noe Valley early Wednesday morning, leaving three cars and vans scorched and melted.

Just about 2 a.m. police spotted a white Dodge Sprinter van on fire in the 500 block of Noe Street. A car next to it suffered a melted tail light and scorched paint. A red newer model Jeep at 18th Street was also pretty damaged.

"The fire on the bottom of hill was on the hood. It looked like someone had set it," witness Noah Votaw said.

All three blazes were ruled as arson, but responding officers were unable to locate any suspects or witnesses.

Anyone with any information about this incident is encouraged to call the San Francisco police at (415) 553-0123.
