Name-calling and taunts resulted in a skateboard to the head for one San Francisco man Thursday night in the city's Mission District.

At about 9:15 p.m., the 43-year-old victim was harassing the  teenage suspect in the 1400 block of Potrero Avenue near Potrero Del Sol  Park, police said.

The suspect, 13, allegedly smacked the victim upside the head with  a skateboard before fleeing on foot.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of  small, non-life threatening lacerations inflicted by the skateboard.

No arrests were made in connection with the name-calling, police  said.
