#BallisLife: Bay Area Commuters Bust Out With Balls When Accidents Shut Down Highways

During the next nightmarish traffic accident, should we expect a 49ers' wannabe to be passing a pigskin out on the roadway?

When the bridges and highways go down in the Bay Area, commuters bust out the balls.

Last Friday, a mysterious baller took out a basketball and dribbled on U.S. Highway 101 between Redwood City and San Carlos after an RV carrying bottle rockets exploded.

This Friday, when a big-rig caught on fire shutting down portions of the San Mateo Bridge, what did a handful of commuters do? They tossed a baseball back and forth to each other.

Of course, we don't need to remind you that the Bay Area is home to the Golden State Warriors, the San Francisco Giants and the Oakland A's.
