Bank Robber Loses False Mustache During Holdup

A Burlingame bank robber had a wardrobe malfunction.

Wanted: one bank robber, with a mustache. Strike that, reverse it: one bank robber, who just lost his mustache.

The description of a man who strolled into a Bank of America at 400 El Camino Real in Burlingame and demanded cash on Wednesday changed by the minute when his disguise began to unravel, according to the Bay Area News Group.

The suspect, a white man in his 50s, arrived at the clerk's desk at 1:25 p.m. Wednesday and demanded cash, the news group reported. He handed a teller a threatening note and revealed a handgun in his waistband to show he meant business.

He was wearing what appears to be a dreadlock-wig and a mustache -- which began to peel off during the heist.

He made off with an unknown amount of money. He's about 6-feet tall and skinny, the news group reported -- and clean shaven.
