Bay Area Election Coverage

There's nothing like the energy of a newsroom on election night.

Throughout the evening, and perhaps into the wee hours of the morning, the NBC Bay Area news team will be bringing you livestreamed updates of Decision 2012.

We'll be providing political analysis with Larry Gerston, glimpses of candidate parties, coverage of victory and concession speeches and more.

We've got reporters stationed at key areas: In Richmond, to see if the soda tax passes, in San Francisco to see if voters pass a parcel tax to help City College, in San Jose to see if the minimum wage gets hiked to $10 an hour, in Oakland to see who the new city council leaders will be, in Fremont to see who the new mayor will be, with the Democratic party in Santa Clara County, and much more. We even sent a reporter down to Orange County to hang out with the Republican party.

To check in online for the full political spectrum of stories, check out Decision 2012.

And during the off-times, you can get a behind-the-scenes look at the newsroom. There's nothing quite like the energy of a newsroom on election night.

Stay tuned, and stay logged in all night.
