Bay Area Girl Abducted in 1995 Is Found

A young woman abducted more than 14 years ago from her home in Walnut Creek, Calif. has been found and her mother is in jail, suspected of the crime.

Dean Click told police that his daughter, Jessica Click-Hill, disappeared on Sept. 2, 1995. He believed she may have been taken by his wife, Wendy Hill. A warrant was issued for Wendy Hill's arrest in 1996, but she could not be found.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children contacted law enforcement eight months ago with a tip, saying the young woman, now 22, might be in Monrovia, Los Angeles County.

Police found Jessica Click-Hill, and arrested Wendy Hill. She was booked Thursday morning into County Jail in Martinez. Her bail was set at $250,000.
