Thirteen Bay Area post offices are in danger of closing, one of them is in Colma.
The United States Postal Service has targeted 13 post offices here in the Bay Area for possible closure.
The offices are on a list of 3,700 retail locations across the country.

The list targets facilities that have suffered from "insufficient customer demand" or where customers have other options for buying stamps and postal services nearby.
The USPS reported a $8.5 billion net loss last year. That followed a $3.8 billion loss in 2009.
