Imagine this all lit up!

The new eastern span of the Bay Bridge is on record as the world's most expensive bridge.

But at least you can see it -- with the new LED lights strung all over it.

The new eastern span has been strung with $2 million LEDs -- 7,800 in all, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.

There are 5,500 LEDs hanging from the bridge's 200 cables, Matier and Ross reported, and more will be hung from the 525-foot main tower.

The hope is to have the light show up and running by the end of December, the newspaper reported.
