A house in Belmont caught on fire early Wednesday morning, waking up a family who was able to escape to safety.
San Mateo County fire officials said the fire was reported in the 300 block of Middle Road about 4:30 a.m.
The husband, wife and two boys got out of their home safely, firefighters said, causing about $50,000 to $75,000 in damages to their house. No other injuries were reported.
