Police in Belmont are asking for the public’s help tracking down a burglar who stole from several vehicles at the Belmont Sports Complex.

Police are sharing a surveillance image of the man they suspect stole from cars at the sports complex on three Sundays this month during Little League games.

Police say the man takes wallets and purses then uses the victims' credit cards to buy power tools. They say he may be driving a late 1990s or early 2000s Ford Ranger pickup that is tan or light- colored.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact Belmont Police at (650) 595-7400 or the Belmont Police Crime Tip Line at (650) 598-3000.
