Mission restaurant Hog & Rocks will be holding a benefit for their line chef who was mistaken for a gang member, and killed while taking a break, on August 30th.

The event for Gaspar "Tio" Puch-tzek and his family will take place at Hog & Rocks on September 17, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. says Mission Local.

Andrew Dombrowski, manager of Maverick's, received donations and gift certificates from 48 restaurants around the city, which will be auctioned off at Hog & Rocks, with all proceeds going to Puch-tzek's family.
