A bicycle rider who was hit by a car in San Jose last month died from his injuries on Thursday, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
Jason Srevef, 39, was pedaling across a south San Jose intersection against the light when he rode off of the sidewalk and into traffic at 1 p.m. on June 28, according to the newspaper.
The newspaper had no further details about the crash, including a possible police investigation.
Srevef, a San Jose man with no permanent address, was pronounced dead at 8 a.m. Thursday at Regional Medical Center. He died from "multiple traumatic injuries," the newspaper reported.
There have been 21 fatal traffic accidents in San Jose in 2013. There were 30 in 2012.
