Bicyclists Roll Through San Jose During Stage 3 of Amgen Tour of California

Cyclists rolled through San Jose Tuesday during 105-mile Stage 3 of the annual Amgen tour.

Traffic will be affected as roads will be closed to let the bicycles by. This is the 10th consecutive year San Jose has hosted the event. There are 8 stages in the race. The final stage is Sunday and ends in Los Angeles.

5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Metcalf Road closed.

10:45 a.m.: Race will begin at Berryessa Community Center, 3050 Berryessa Road. Cyclists will move northeast on Berryessa Road and then turn left onto Northbound Piedmont Road.

10:50 a.m. Riders expected to reach Calaveras Road, and will turn right onto eastbound Calaveras toward Livermore.

2:45 p.m. The race is expected to re-enter San Jose via Mt. Hamilton Road and Quimby Road, and turn onto Murillo Avenue in the Evergreen neighborhood.

3 p.m. The race will continue south on San Felipe Road before turning onto Metcalf Road and finishing at Motorcycle County Park, 300 Metcalf Road.
