Blue Bottle Unveils Cold Brew Cans

Blue Bottle Coffee will debut a new national product at the W.C. Morse Cafe in Oakland.

Cold Brew, an eight-ounce iced coffee in a can, is brewed for 12-16 hours and is considered by the company to be its first widely-released craft product.

A launch event featuring live music, light bites and copious Cold Brew sampling, is open to the public from 2-5 p.m. on Friday. Cold Brew will be available that day at all Blue Bottle locations, and will be in a number of Whole Foods stores nationwide in April.

Blue Bottle was born in a garage in San Francisco in 2005 and has since raised more than $70 million in venture capital, which has fostered its growth into locations as far as Tokyo.
