The Alameda County Sheriff's Department is investigating the discovery of a body inside a vehicle found Friday night in an area of unincorporated county near Byron, officials report.
Both the CHP and the Tracy Fire Department responded to a report of a burning vehicle on Grant Lake Road around 10:15 p.m.
Officials arrived at the scene and found the body of a man inside the vehicle, a sheriff's department official reports.
