If you read the article, the bonfire was not abandend.....they put it out and it was out until the winds stired it up 13 hours later. I would like to know if there were signs posted saying no fires. They have them up in Padres past Gorman so you know when and where you can have a fire. I would bet though that most of the people who go camping dont know the "boyscout"way of putting a fire out. I have been to many sites where the previous campfire was still hot hours after someone before me had left. Oh and metalhead is a basket case of issues. should start a forum just on him. ... MORE >

I honestly do not think this was arson because it sounds like it was a tragic mistake of not putting the fire out correctly. As far as blaming the women who go to work and earn an honest living, I am guessing you are a single man who can't seem to get a date, hmm! I wonder why. Some women have to work to keep a roof over their children's heads because the fathers up and disappear at the slightest sight of responsibility. Don't expect sympathy from me, because you could afford one and you were allowed the educational opportunities which gave you the job so you could afford one. Many people who couldn't afford to go to a four-year university don't have houses. They live at the mercy of landlords. I feel no pity for you-especially if you're STUPID enough to live in an area known for red flags. So much for your college education.
