Oakland Fire Dispatch confirms a large fire was burning Tuesday afternoon in the Oakland hills.
An NBC Bay Area traffic cam captured images of smoke in the hills near homes. The exact location wasn't immediately clear, but the fire appeared to be extinguished by about 3:30 p.m.
