[BAYONLY'Build the Wall Higher' Graffiti Found at Spanish Language School in Windsor

Police in the North Bay are reviewing surveillance video to see who spray-painted pro-Trump graffiti at a Spanish-language elementary school over the weekend.

Students and staff on Monday discovered the vandalism at Cali Calmecac Language Academy in Windsor, north of Santa Rosa.

Vandals had painted the word "Trump" around the school, and the phrase: "Build the Wall Higher." Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has made many anti-Mexican remarks and has repeatedly called for a wall to be built to separate the United States and Mexico as a way to curb illegal immigration.

The school rushed to get the messages painted-over before students returned to class--but many parents and kids had already spotted the words.

"It's just a big shame, I don't understand why they had to ... it's not OK," parent Melissa Leonard said with tears in her eyes.
