Chevron Sets Up Air Monitor Station in Richmond

The second phase of an air monitoring system is almost up and running in the city of Richmond.

The community air monitoring system’s first phase is along the Chevron refinery fence line.

There are three computers in place collecting data.

There other systems will be placed in communities close to the refinery in Richmond.

Chevron says it is committed to making sure the air quality is safe, especially after that huge fire at the refinery last August.

The monitoring system collects data in real-time.
