With the end of the Super Bowl, comes the teardown of Super Bowl City in San Francisco, and the sweeping up of post-Big Game cheer (or defeat) at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
Officials say it will likely take until Sunday before streets open around Justin Herman Plaza as crews disassemble all the family-friendly activities and displays that marked the area along the Embarcadero at the foot of Market Street. The same goes for the streets near Moscone Center, where the NFL Experience was held.
Levi's Stadium also needs a good scouring. The 75,000 fans from both the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers left quite a mess of garbage in the stands. A confetti blower left countless scraps of paper scattered on the field. The Broncos beat the Panthers 24-10.
